From simple optics and plano optical components to precision optics, precision thin films, complex assemblies, and custom optical solutions, PG&O is your key supplier.

A full range of thin-film filters for commercial and custom applications include heat resistant, dichroic, dielectric, UV, IR, AR, BBAR, cold mirror plate, hot mirrors, metal, aluminized mirrors, plate beamsplitters, ITO, MaxRs and more. We also have a wide range of coated substrates (off-the-shelf) thin films available for immediate delivery. For custom applications, our highly precise optical coatings can be designed and specified up to 24-inches in diameter to meet exact angle and wavelength requirements.

The company has an extremely large inventory of glass products and a full optical fabrication shop to provide advanced optical coatings and manufacturing large mirror blanks.

With three large coating chambers, including a 72” state-of-the-art coating chamber and our large, in-house glass substrates inventory, PG&O provides quick turnarounds on a wide array of flats, prisms, and beamsplitters.

Recent innovations include a beamsplitter cube with a 200:1 extinction ratio for high-power-laser applications. Fabrication services include CNC machining, polishing, slicing, sawing, scribing, grinding, edging, assembly, and more. NEW! PG&O fabricates finished optics out of infrared (IR) materials that operate from 0.75 microns to 15 microns.
Our affordable and reliable optics and advanced thin-film coatings capabilities combine with our expert, in-house engineering staff to serve diverse and critical markets. Application areas include military, aerospace, scanning, industrial instrumentation, medical, imaging, laser, digital cinema, solar, display, and more.

PG&O’s new fabrication capability utilizes several infrared materials, including calcium fluoride (CaF2), magnesium fluoride (MgF2), silicon (Si), germanium (Ge), zinc selenide (ZnSe) and zinc sulfide (ZnS). The finished IR optics operate from 0.75 µm, the near-infrared (NIR), out to15 µm, the longwave-infrared (LWIR) spectrum.
